dooboy | does anyone make a performance chip for the prowler? |
idive | Yes, they make 'em... Now, to answer your next question... from what I've read here, yes, they are a waste of your money. |
MDProwler | The factory already tweaked the computer as much as possible. |
catfish | the chip thats no longer made,i think was super chip.7 to 800.00 for 4hp.a flop. ------------------
|
Chromer | These CHiPS were pretty effective on motorcycles...Not sure if there would be significant performance improvement on the Prowler. |
ed monahan | Chromer, you LIKE the pink Vette and Ponch?????? A/C will be all over you on those admissions. lol |

"Bill - super sized condoms for Jack,,,,Chromer still uses the lavender, ribbed, generic mediums. Seen them in his trunk in Colorado" AC ED.. I don't figure AC's goin' to go "there"...especially after admitting he "knows" about the "lavender, ribbed, generic mediums"... LOL!!

ed monahan | Chromer, good point. |
Marty Usher | I believe that ACE was the comapny making a chip. Mike Krehel tested on dyno for 6 HP gain. $799.00 each. You had to send ECU to them to install. Kenne Bell looked at programmnmg the ECU but concluded improvement was very limited. |
