Andy Perrotta Hello folks, has anyone painted the inside of the rims to match the car or grey to get around the flaking problem, if so please post photos. thanks Andy

halicati will have to do that to mine... its spreading.... i might try some urethane or other clear product just to slow it down...

I have done this. I think my photos are on my home computer. I will look for them tonight. Unfortunately I can't take new photos because my car is in storage 30 miles away. I ended up peeling off as much as I could with the help of a razor blade. Then sanded off the zinc undercoat. In some locations I could not remove the copper on top of the zinc but below the chrome. Finally I coated the inside with aluminum engine paint. Cost me $10 and no one has ever noticed.

BeWareI'll take and post pictures this weekend. Mine are painted with the silver color the original Prowler painted wheels were painted with.
