Made by RealRod... ------------------ Half way down the page.... Prowler Stainless Steel Chin Scratch Guard Plate Finally what all Prowlers owners have been waiting for. A Heavy-duty Chin Scratch Guard. Heavy duty rivets hold the two unit together and will ware before you scratch the plate guard. This device mounts using existing bolts under your Prowlers nose. No drilling or modification needed. You can remove the Chin Guard and your Prowler is back to stock without any scratches on the bottom of the nose. Easy mounting with existing bolts. ------------------ looks kind of cool, who makes itjoebenz7 I saw another silver prowler on Staten Island. His bumpers were painted silver, but the thing that first caught my eye, was his nose protector. It was Chrome, and curved around the bottom of the car, almost like a boomerang. Has anyone ever seen this before. I have to say, it actually look really good. Northern Cat This what you mean...The pic is Cnote Kat..(Chris) joebenz7 No, those are vertical. This boomerang was actually horizontal. It looked like alittle c -channel that fit right under the nose, but it went as far back as where the headlights start. pgpd I think this is what he is talking about. I believe this is a TGF piece and not available anymore??? I'm sure there will be several to correct me on this, but this is a pic of MeanGene's fine piece. Pure stainless steel plate specifically designed to fit to the under of the Prowlers molded nose. This plate does not effect your ground clearance and it is almost not visible while standing and looking at the Prowler front end.
Will not rust, stain or corrode.
Will not come off on the road even by vibration or pot holes. catfish sounds like hes looking for something that was custom made.he could not have seen the chin guard w/o getting down on his knees to see it.cause its not visible. joebenz7 It looked sort of something like this, but better of corse. I just did a little cut and paste. joebenz7 [img] DFOTOPRO Joe ed monahan It looks exactly like what Steve (Dublin, OH) posted the link to. joebenz7 I dont think so. The scratch guard that he has the link to you can barely see. The one that I saw, you can see even from standing right in front of the car.
