samthejeepman	out of the last 299 candies made, does anyone know how to tell by vin number how close to the end my candy was built ?? #v101789 thx-------------sam
SuperKat	Not sure from the vin but I have heard that you can get a good idea from the VON (vehicle order number) as to where your car falls in the color series. If that is true, you can also estimate your overall sequence number since you know the total number of prowlers produced prior to the candy production. Might be all wet but this a best guess. Gordon
samthejeepman	thx gordon i pretty much tried doing it that way to a degree, and it is too hard to figure out i thought someone had might have exact numbers out there maybe mike will chime in, i'm sure he has all the exact stats sam
catfish	on my 99 when you open the hood on the ls.of the cowl right by the hood hinge there was a paper sticker and written in ink was the #youre looking for.not sure if the later years had that sticker.there is no way to tell from the vinthe exact date. try this see how many were built total i think the last 3 of the vin is the sequence yours was built.100, 200, 300.also figure the month which is on the dr.vin tag. ------------------
