I put a little silicone on the one in door on my truck Had panel off for something & seen it started to deteriorate, little silicone, put door panel back on & good as new…… LOL Richnew41 Keep in mind, this was garage kept and not driven….
Had to share what 20+ years looks like with an original cheap speaker…

The subwofer was still in great shape unlike the others. Looking back, I wish I would have left it alone. CAT-A-TONIC I wouldn't call it a "cheap" speaker as that's how they were made at the time. BUT,....you can go to "simplyspeaker.com" and order new foam rings, install and they will sound as good as new !!
