TULSA was AWESOME ! It was great seeing friends again and making new ones ! Getting there and seeing the weather was a bit concerning it would be ANOTHER rain cursed Prowler event, and with some rain on Thursday and Friday it cleared up IN TIME for the car show on Saturday and the wonderful cruise on Sunday. The unearthing of the Belvedere was actually pretty good. O.K. - it was a rust bucket but that was kinda expected but the show was good and the 'building excitement' was nicely done The Car show was fun, although we didn't participate (due to a bit of a hangover courtesy of Ron's (o1Prowler) 99 Bananas Liquor The Cruise on Sunday was INCREDIBLE - not only was the weather purr-fect, NO rain - off an on clouds and temps in the 80's ..... it could NOT have been any better, taking us through eastern Oklahoma and Native Indian Country - SUPER !! Zack had all the Police Departments of ALL towns we went through on standby and as soon as we entered they're towns traffic was blocked so the HUUGE Prowler group could pass through uninterrupted - it was REALLY REALLY cool ! A HUUUGE Thank you and 'job well done' to Rich and Linda Ware, as well as Zack and his lovely girlfriend that had planned this event from LONG DISTANCE and all their hard work sure paid off ! Have a look DUSTI We just got back in from a quick 11 hour trip back home.
Last but NOT least I want to thank Ron (01Prowler) and DavidN for providing us hungry Prowlers with an INCREDIBLE BBQ on THursday night - FOR FREE !galaxie I couldn't agree more. Thanks to Rich & Zack & all others that were envolved. We had a super time. Drove straight through on the way back.14 hrs. Boy am I tired. Met some new friends & saw some old ones. Can't wait till Woodward.
