jimsuttonI had My Prowler up on the lift today looking around and found something that could be a problem on all Prowlers . Next time your car is on a lift take good a look at the Two steel Transmission lines where they inter to the Transmission.. Look at them real good Mine were very rusty and in time if not taken care of could brake or be leaking Fluid and no Fluid damage to the Transmission .. No mater what the mileage on the car .. Saving Prowler owners money in the long run .. Jim

jimsuttonJust to let you know the line from the Transmission cooler is Rubber but the the ends are steel and that is where the problem is around the nut area on the Transmission above and to the left of the sending unit...
idiveThanks for the heads up. On the 97 the cooler connection is just a hose with a clamp but the trans end are steel (if I remember right). A while back I found that the connection at the cooler wasn't tight from the factory and the hose backed off the nipple and started leaking. I put it back on full and tightened up the clamp to stop the leak.
