JeraneW After reading about Mike's trailer tire blowout, I am looking into purchasing a new set for my trailer. Goodyear does not seem to making this size any longer. The size is: P215/60R 15 Eagle GT II. This size is available with Kelly, Dunlop, Fuzion and a few others. I am looking for recomendations. I doubt this tire comes in "run flat" sizes. Steve Conley First thing I did in 2005 when I purchased my trailer, is I installed Michaelin 195/60/15 RUNFLAT tires. The only RUNFLAT I could find in 15" in 2005. They don't look too allfully small??? But they are RUNFLATS. And I don't have to worry about a flat. ed monahan Time is a huge enemy of rubber. All the trailers are at least 10 years old. Old rubber gets HARD, like windshield wipers and then they tend to fail.
Do you guys grease the bearings every once in awhile? JeraneW Hey Ed, The only "greasing" is greasing your palms so you don't reposess my car. LOL ALLEY CAT Pops,,,,from those you listed above,,I can say Fuzion got acceptional wear on our Mustang > 50K+ miles before replacing. Have you looked into Hankook tires?
