Top is up can't see turning my head over my right shoulder when switching lanes. A lot of cars always next to me hard to just change lanes. Result highway driving top up. Slower city/country drives top down. I even like the top up as it has that chopped look. Both ways is a winner. Jer I know you know how to use mirrors from driving truck, you just don't have as many big ones. loljacktripper How are you guys dealing with the Blind spot on the Prowler? OkieHokie Added 2 inch convex mirrors to eliminate blind spots. Hoagie1 I only Drive the Kat with to top down...lol. Landscape Doctor X2,,,, I put those on every one of my vehicles.

Simonsez I guess not being tall is an advantage. The noise especially highway driving is more than I can take. The wind and usually heat also is hard on my eyes and face. TucsonJer One thing that really helps me is I set both side mirrors out to where you can’t see the sides of your car without leaning either right or left to see it. That will give you a wider view of lanes on either side. I also check the rear view mirror constantly so I know when traffic is gaining on me. Hope this helps you. Jer Simonsez
Love that top up look.padroo Nice picture Bruce, I also like the top up look also. Rayman Simonsz I agree with you,
much harder to change the track are the types who admire the Prowler while they move offset next to you.BeWare Bruce, that is a damn cool photo. I have always thought the Prowler looked as good with the top up or down. One of only a few rag tops that can claim that. I just wish it was as easy to get in and out of, both top up or down. Oh well I guess you can't have your cake and eat it to. Or so some say anyway. Marty Usher Having driven more than a few rental cars in the last couple of years with Blind Spot Detection options I can say that without a doubt if any of the aftermarket BSDs would work on a Prowler it would be a good investment. Of course I still use the old school method for changing lanes with the Prowler.....press the gas pedal to the floor and change lanes! Drew
Personally, I find the right side mirror to be adequate, a decent view, it's the drivers side that has a dangerous blind spot. All other vehicles of mine have a drivers side convex mirror stuck on but haven't put one on the Prowler, don't think it's a cool look for the car. So.. I have to lean forward to see if anyone's next to me on the left side, an exercise I'm willing to do on this vehicle.
