Good luck Bruce! ....really glad to hear that......I'm with BT161....get a way to relay this to DC.....who knows !!?? Good luck Bruce and keep posting, you hear !! ------------------ ------------------ Good luck and keep posting here. AC (At least your change was 1/4 mile.... mine was 1300 miles!) Always a bright side. ------------------ Don This message has been edited by Northern Cat on 07-07-2004 at 11:47 AM ------------------bruce hazelton First thanks to all who responded so kindly to my last post about loosing my job. Your messages really made me feel good about what I tried to do for all POA members. Since I was told June 23rd that my last day was July 16th, I took all of 32 hours to land a position at a brand new Advance Auto Parts store just a few blocks away. They needed to start stocking shelves July 7th so today after I got back from lunch I told my "manager" that this was my last day; eight days earlier than they thought they had me for. I also received a letter from Chrysler dated the same day I was given notice, that I had been mystery shopped and that I received a perfect score and a reward of $100 for my "outstanding performance" and that my "success can serve as an excellent example for everyone at your store." How ironic is that for a guy that just got fired for not enough respect for his "manager"!!! That letter did get into the owners mail along with every post you all made to me on my firing announcement. Again thanks to all my POA friends for your support. You are the best. Bruce butchcee Looks like they dumped the wrong guy. Good luck at Advance Bruce. You'll be missed here. BeWare Bruce congrats on the new job. I hate Napoleanistic managers. cnote6 Bruce, Thanks for the last order of stuff and you will be missed!!!! Stay on POA!!!
This was meant for something and I know it will be for the better.Ray Bruce, glad to hear you landed on your feet in a big way ... your loss, well the loss for your former dealership will happily now be Bryden Motors' gain ... Put that in the "boss' mail" also ... Thanks for all you did! cnote6 Do you have your old boss email? post it!! Black Tie 161 I love the irony, and glad you found something else maybe just as good. DUSTI Congratulations Bruce !!
Dusti says........Relax !enduro Congrats Bruce. I didn't figure it would take long before somebody else snatched you up. Just think, now you'll have a shorter commute (about a 1/4 mile), and you'll be able to look down the hill and keep tabs on your old cronies, LOL. SuperKat Congratulations Bruce! We do miss your posts and information. Thanks again for your assistance. Too bad some managers demand what they should earn.
GordonCJ Having just gone through an "early" retirement from DC, Bob and I can certainly understand your plight. They say that one door has to close before another can open and their loss is another's gain. Congratulations and best of luck with your new job. ed monahan Bruce, nice post and glad it is all working out. DR PROWLER Great news,Bruce!

fit on the hood in the same area as that OEM one?
Something that would go nice with Blue
------------------Sunshine 77 Bruce,
Thanks again for the help on getting the wife's 99 up to speed with the hitch and rack etc. Good people always come out on top. I put in 19 years, 7 days a week managing a business with the promise of stock. Then one day, out of the blue, I was let go. That was 1991. I took all the customers and started my own business, worked real hard, and was able to get a beautiful red 99 for my wife. That says it all. Keep in touch. If you need to move down to the Lake Forest area in Illinois, there is a great dealer down here that is always looking for dedicated people.
Sunshine77's husbandGenoTex On my way back to driving trains again.. to heck with this 'management' stuff
Will be so much better in the long run! David Veu Casovic Good luck on the new job. Bob Hacker Bruce,
Good luck on your new job, will see you at some WI&IL cruise.
