At the funeral I looked down at my shoes and remembered the day Mom taught me how to tie them, then adjusted my neck tie and remembered the day that Dad taught me how to tie it. Thousands of things that I had taken for granted were whirling around in my head. All of the tools that had been lovingly placed in my life tool box were suddenly new and appreciated in a whole different way. During the last two months Mom had lost the ability to speak. All of her wondeful words of Love and encouragement were silenced with the exception of the three most powerful words in the world, 'I Love You'. You can never say I Love You to your loved ones too much. Prayers are with you. ...she will always live in your memory, no one can ever take that away...I still hear me dad speak to me daily and he has been gone over 2 years says it all Thank you for your words of inspiration. I couldn't agree more. I doubt you took any of the good times for granted Jeff. The good memories that you mention will remain with you till the day you see them again. God bless you and your family. Things do get better over time. My heart doesn't hurt as much, but I still have my moments. The next few months will likely be the most difficult. But once you get past the one year anniversary of their passing, it seems to get better. At least it did for me. My prayers are with you and your family.
