stephanoi'VE BEEN USING A CABLE LOOP BEHIND MY SEAT TO OPEN MY TRUCK SINCE i GOT IT. NOW IT'S NOT RELEASING. IS THERE ALSO A BUTTON SOMEHWERE? ANY SUGGESTIONS? i HAVE A 1999 Plymouth Prowler.
BeWareThere is a deck release button on the lid on the drivers side. This picture is of an aftermarket version that can be installed on the passenger side. But it should give you an idea where to find the button on the drivers side.

ALLEY CATIf the push button doesn't work....check your fuses under the dash----driver's side.
stephanowhere is that picture for location? under the hood somewhere?
dskattThe trunk button is to the rear of the drivers door just under the top lip of the trunk lid. It is more along the side body panel as opposed to the back trunk wall like the loop. Make sure you unlock the doors with the key fob otherwise the trunk won’t open.

That is not a picture of my car. I have one on the passenger side, but it’s a little different. MDProwler was doing these. I’ll post a picture of mine later.

ZuluProwlerI have a cstall button. It came with an adequate bracket but nothing like the one shown. I'm not going to replace it but the fancy bracket caught me eye. I may make one if I get bored and the rain persists...

garysssThey also came color matched with Prowler paint to your Prowler. Which made it look exactly like Original.
