Like these:
If sensor goes bad, just replace it w/o a wheel/tire removal.
Must remove to check add air and can be stolen (unless there is a security screw, which is a pita for adding air).jwallis I have not tried them, they would be good for on your trailer. jimsutton I wonder if it will effect the wheels balance ? I have a set but never used them .. Orange Power "The sensors weigh 10 grams each, so in theory you’d need a wheel balance but in practice we didn’t find any appreciable difference."

http://www.tyredog.com spoons This is long over due....this is brief overview of the Prowler tire pressure monitoring system:
https://youtu.be/fi5ViTe-F-g padroo Thanks for your video. I was able to change TPMS sensors by just breaking down one side of the tire. There is no need to remove it from the rim. tbonelynch I disconnected the TPMS module and light bulb and replaced it with these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08GZPJXJM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie= UTF8&psc=1
I use my cell phone to monitor tire pressure. It shows PSI and TEMP. Batteries are easily replaced.1stMadMan I’ve had something similar for around five years works perfectly. I just have to change the batteries once a year which is very easily done.
They also make units like this with six sensors, perfect if you have a trailer with run-flats.jimsutton I have a set both of mine now..I like them better than OEM stevedymo I have the valve stem caps also. Have to remove them to change the battery and put air in the tire. Would like to drill a second hole and put in a valve stem to use just for these caps. Then if you have to put air in the tire, no need to remove the caps except to change the battery.
