Orange PowerAny one use a after-marktet TPMS that has screw-on sensors?
Like these:

TyreDog http://www.amazon.com/Newest-Automotive-Pressure-Monitoring-System/dp/B00AMBQ7CC/ref=pd_sim_sbs_p_14

SecureTire http://www.amazon.com/Unknown-TS16949-Securetire-Pressure-Monitoring/dp/B0013DIJX8/ref=pd_sim_sbs_p_5

Pro:
If sensor goes bad, just replace it w/o a wheel/tire removal.

Con:
Must remove to check add air and can be stolen (unless there is a security screw, which is a pita for adding air).

jwallisI have not tried them, they would be good for on your trailer.
jimsuttonI wonder if it will effect the wheels balance ? I have a set but never used them ..
Orange Power"The sensors weigh 10 grams each, so in theory you’d need a wheel balance but in practice we didn’t find any appreciable difference."

padrooThanks for your video. I was able to change TPMS sensors by just breaking down one side of the tire. There is no need to remove it from the rim.
tbonelynchI disconnected the TPMS module and light bulb and replaced it with these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08GZPJXJM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie= UTF8&psc=1
I use my cell phone to monitor tire pressure. It shows PSI and TEMP. Batteries are easily replaced.

1stMadMan I’ve had something similar for around five years works perfectly. I just have to change the batteries once a year which is very easily done.
They also make units like this with six sensors, perfect if you have a trailer with run-flats.
jimsuttonI have a set both of mine now..I like them better than OEM

stevedymoI have the valve stem caps also. Have to remove them to change the battery and put air in the tire. Would like to drill a second hole and put in a valve stem to use just for these caps. Then if you have to put air in the tire, no need to remove the caps except to change the battery.
