And what some were able to see if they had come early enough: The last flight of Atlantis! Now it's back to the hotel and get ready for a 150 mile trip to the West Coast of FL for the Sunset with a stop in The Villages for lunch, The Manatee Park in Homosassa Springs and then on to Pine Island for the Sunset after dinner. Now I know why we didn't see you downstairs at breakfast. This message has been edited by Greg and Veta on 05-15-2010 at 07:02 AM Have a safe ride. 99ProwlerFL - Go Gators! More to come I know I have been getting a lot of thanks for the event, but I have to thank Denise Warner for The Villages leg and of course Bob and Mo for the West Coast leg. It was a lot of fun packed into a few days and our memorial cruise to celebrate our dear fiend Jim Warner went on without a hitch and the weather was great....no rain until those traveling south hit some on the way home. Sorry guys! Well, we're already planning next years Memorial Cruise and it should be a dandy one also. Hope more of you can attend. We had a very good showing of FL Kats and one from GA. It was nice to see you all again and as they say on TV....stay tuned for clips of next years event! Wally A BIG Ditto to what Dave said.. This message has been edited by 99ProwlerFL on 05-18-2010 at 08:10 AM Mike I thought that's what you do. LOL Gary, except for having the time, resource and making a living from it that is exactly what I do! Stupid Time & Money, it's holding us all back from reaching our true potential Back by popular demand, I've been asked to plan an event to the Keys. I never had the chance when the event happened prior to me owning my Kat, so I think it is time to go again! Trying to make it a 3.5 day event. I'll be working on it with some of the other FL Kat Pack members and we'll have a go at it either later this year or early next year. Wallywallygator310 The weekend has started on the Jim Warner "Sunrise to Sunset Cruise". Friday nights dinner was very well attended and everybody enjoyed socializing again after a long cold winter. Good to see some old faces and a few new ones also. The hardy ventured out at 6 AM this morning for a quick drive to the beach for the sunrise. Some pics to follow:

Wouldn't life be grand if you had the time and resource to float from one local event to another? If there was just a way to make a living doing it.garysss quote:

Gary, except for having the time, resource and making a living from it that is exactly what I do! wallygator310 Well, we'd be glad to have any and all of you for any event we put on. That said, we are planning next years cruise and it'll be as good but not the same route and places to visit. There are so many things to see in FL and many 2 lane roads to travel to get there, which makes the cruise that much more exciting and fun. We'll try for about 150 miles again as that was just about the right amount of miles to cruise around in one day. lalrjg Thanks to Wally and everyone else that helped put on a fabulous weekend. The weather could not have been better. The trip from the East coast to the West coast was a great ride over some very nice terrain. A trip to the Keys also sounds fabulous. Keep us posted. WINDY CITY PROWLER Wish i could have made this one jim was a great guy i see bob and mo there haven't seen them since the move to florida. great pictures.
