However, the sadness was replaced today when I went to bank and paid off the loan on the Prowler. I borrowed money to buy my first car, a '64 Chevelle, in September 1969 and 45 cars later this is the first time I have not had a car payment to make. Several of the cars were paid for but I always had another vehicle with a payment. Now if I can just keep myself from going out and buying something something else I can save some $$$ for a big down payment on a new Challenger when they come out! Curtis EXCELLENT!!! 2 thumbs up from the Bamians 2 thumbs up from the Bamians [/B] This message has been edited by 1buddyc on 07-27-2006 at 12:07 PM It's always the best when both sides of a deal are winners! I'll let you kow if I see any deals on chrome wheels -but as I said no hurry getting the Torque Thrusts back to me. Marty Best of Luck with the Challenger!!! What color are you going to get? He and Phylis picked it up last night and I had a sad feeling watching as they drove off with trailer. I can't imagine how I would feel if I ever sold the Prowler. I thought you were "Bamaites" 1buddyc Nothing feels quite as good as knowing you Dont Have A Car Payment! Congrats Marty. Dale Beaman The nice part of the deal is that it made of both happy! Marty Usher Dale - I am glad you all finally got a trailer. I know you have been wanting one for quite some time. It's nice to know it will actualy get used instead of just collecting dust in my garage. It hasn't traveled to a POA event (or anywhere) since 2004. I didn't take it on Power Tour and went solo to the Dells so did not needd the trailer and this year the POA event was here. WildBill Marty,
CONGRATULATIONS on paying off the Kat!
I know you didn't want to let the trailer go, but I am glad you were able to keep it in the family. I'm sure Phyllis & Dale are really happy as well. CJ Congrats, Marty........great feeling, isn't it? TFischer Way to go!! Win, win for you and Dale!! T BeWare Congrats to both of you Dale and Marty. I promised Linda no more new cars until the three we have are paid off. With exception of my very first car (for which the loan was in my Dads name and was paid off when he passed away) I like Marty have always had at least one car payment. In 1 year & 9 months we will own the Prowler. Maybe sooner if I get a nice bonus next year. Marty Usher With sales tax, 1st year registration/title/tag plus monthly payments for principal and interest and down payment I ended paying $47,901.72 for my Prowler. Of course, if I add in the mods, engines, yearly property tax, etc..........I don't even want to calculate it.
