I never said you could not sell your car for $30000. I always say low miles bring more money. It might take longer to sell, but your not selling it now and there is no guarantee it will be worth more 10 years from now. In 2008 when the stock market dropped, so did Prowler prices. Stock market now at all time high, if the market drops again in 5 years, you might lose money, who knows. In your other post, you said show me a Prowler with low miles under $30k. So I showed you yours. I think you got a great deal on your car, but I don't think your the only person to ever buy a low mileage Prowler under $30000. There are always deals out there. I hope it all works out for your investment for your son, maybe he might even drive it when he gets it and think about you every time he does. I don't have any children, so I'm driving mine now while I can. When I checked my 2001 on KBB with 51500 miles, value was $32700, $1700 less than yours with 50000 more miles. It's all in fun, enjoy your Prowler. Group Hug Time. This message has been edited by garysss on 03-10-2015 at 09:12 AM |

Took that in consideration AC...still has 20,000 more miles than mine....Ed quoted i couldn't get $33,000 for mine. |
ALLEY CAT | Ef,,, Without the hardtop and new mods you've added,,,I would tend to agree with him. But, one never knows... Maybe a huge 'lottery winner' will stumble upon you and offer $45K for your cat? Good luck |

Let's say this orange cat got his asking $31k and he has $2k in wheels included your saying mine has 20,000 less miles i couldn't pull $33k ...i dont see your or Eds logic.

ALLEY CAT | Ef,,,,I'm not sure, but think the orange went for $30K even? I consider that a top dollar figure for how it set......obviously you will disagree. When the seller first asked me to 'value' the car.....I put a selling figure between $28 to $32K on that particular car,,,depending on the buyer they found. There were other factors I used when appraising that car, and choose not to disclose them all. I can't speak for Ed, but an orange cat will most likely sell for more than a silver....it is the 'best' color! My logic is solid ... |
