embe | Hi all, being new to the big Prowler family I'd like to ask for your advice: (couldn't find related topics already being posted...) Is there anybody offering bigger size rims than the stock ones? I saw Boyd Coddington equip a Prowler with 18x8.5 for the front, but the rear still was 20x10. Since there is room to fill in the rear wheel house I started to search for something but could nowhere find anything bigger AND wider than the stock 20x10... Maybe you have an idea? Thanks! embe |
01Prowler | George Maxey is running 18 front and 22 rear. They are made by Boyd Coddington. |
embe | They are 22x10, right? I'm looking for 22x12, Boyd Coddington does not offer anything wider than 10 inches...Thanks though! embe |
butchcee | you might get some fender rub with the wider rims. |
Northern Cat | if you go with that size...they rub on the frame... think about changing the offset of the wheel to get the look your after..I had mine changed by a half inch to fill the wheel-well moreGeorge is using low-profit tires with his 22x10 and the ride will be harder than the round flats keep that in mine JMO Don
