John ColeWhere can I get the best deal on rear tires. Local Goodyear store quotes $450.00 per tire.
Fat PatWhew...call this number and ask for Mike. It is my Uncle's Goodyear Store and my cousin Mike has forgotten more about tires than most people know. (you may have seen my cousin Mike on ESPN...he is a National Champ Skeet shooter)

Larry LordI've used TireRack.com for all of my tire purchases and have always been happy with their prices and service.
You might give them a try.

Tire Rack.com

catfishTIRE RACK HAS 2 REARS IN STOCK 750.00

dreamcast18Support POA vendors! Also, try costco.com
Useful for comparisons if you're doing a local tire shop.

I agree on the comments about TireRack. They always have great prices and are good to work with.

John ColeThanks for the help. Looks like Costco is the best price $291.00 installed.
catfishdid costco tell you it will take weeks to get them?they dont stock them.

------------------

firegabeI would not let costco install them!!!!
prowlrmanat $291 / tire...unless you need them ASAP...I could wait for that amount of savings..JMO You can always take the tires to another tire shop to install
towen66Just purchased goodyear tires from Tirerack.com 2 weeks ago and they cost $165.00 each and $20.00 shipping to Hawaii. I had tires mounted for $20.00 each.
John Coletowen66, GREAT price, I was just on tirerack.com 11:50 AM Tuesday and received a price of $357.00. Do you have a name and number I can call to get your price?
Wally, thanks for the private message.
pumpkinAll good prices but the run flats will cost you around $300 give or take. If they are under $300 make sure to ask them if they are runflats. That is if you want runflats.

Hi John,

Don't forget to get "Road Hazard" tire insurance from your local Goodyear dealer. It's very inexpensive and worth the peace of mind. Your cost depends on the tread wear of the tires. At the time of replacement, they prorate the tread wear.

Ransom

catfishthe tires for 165.00 each are not run flats.

towen66When I ordered them they had a special. I guess you'll have to keep looking until they are discounted again. I just went online and ordered them. Sorry don't have a special person or #. I know when I called my local Goodyear dealer they wanted $275.00 each. The total for all tires and mounting etc. was well over $1000.00. I had a local hot rod shop install the 2 tires from tirerack for $20 each and then I purchase Toyo tires for $ 140 each mounted. I think total for all 4 tires was under $700. I would keep shopping around until you find a deal unless of course you need them ASAP. The back tires are 295 40Zr20 eagle HP Ultra Plus. I just went online and didn't see this tire, but I did find a 295/40YR20 for a special of $154.00 each. I'm not sure if the "Y" makes that much of a difference.I hope this helps
Jack LietzkeThe ultra plus tires are not run flat tires....that is why the costs are not in the neighborhood of $300.
John ColeI am going to stay with the run-flat tires. Looks like the coast will be at least $350.00 Thanks to everyone for your input.
Steve TDid you see this deal?
