BuckNekkidAre they still available?

If not, does anyone make one that fits as well as the factory bra did? If there is a "replacement" bra, what's the difference between it and the original "factory" bra.

What would you estimate a "factory" mopar bra to be worth at this point if someone could find one? I may have a line on one and I don't wanna inadvertently get hosed.

Thanks in advance for your help

whealy You can also check here. This is the vender that made the original factory bras and still makes them. Also, a POA sponser.
CJKeep in mind that they don't have the Prowler logos anymore, though.

CJ.

The original Mopar bras didn't have the prowler logos. It was the Plymouth logo. After the switch from Plymouth to Chrsyler the Mopar bras switched to the Prowler logo. American Stitchco made the Mopar bras with Plymouth logo and Prowler logo. Now makes the same bra with their private brand Skintight logo on the side piece instead on the hood piece.

BuckNekkidThanks guys. Appreciate your help.

I'd really like to have that speed lingerie - that is really nice stuff - but I'm having' a bit of a tough time forking over nearly $1000 including tax for a bra

My birthday is in early October, so just in case any of you have been having a tough time trying to figure out what to get for me - that would be it

CJI've never had the car bra, but I do have the trailer bras on both of mine and they have the Prowler logo on both.... guess it was those I was thinking of.

You can always get the Mopar American Stitchco bra painted by kal.

Either with some design or just the color of your Prowler...

BuckNekkidHi Laddie

Can you give me some sort of price range as to what he charges to do a bra? I realize it depends on the complexity of the design - what's the low end and the high end from what you've seen?

Thanks

$1000 for the Custom painted bra (Kal said only one was more). $400 to paint the bra color of Prowler...

charlie buiAfter reading this post and checkout the bra from American Stitcho...Is it worth it to have the bra for the Prowler?

Personally, I like them for long distance travels. I have the bras on my other vehicles before.

How is the appearance? Pros and cons, please. Thanks.

CJI don't have the bras on my cats....just the trailers. Interestingly enough, though...........even with the bra on the trailer, I've had rocks/stones hit hard enough that they even left chips through the bra.

Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course!

charlie buiI noticed my front sustained some rock chips ....I know for appearance, w/out the bra, the Prolwer would look better.

The Prowler is low enough to the ground, I am pretty sure overtime, it will be worst...

So, it would make more sense to purchase the bra.

Wondering how many have them? If knowing the rock would do some damage, why wouldn't you want one? Just curious...

Eddie PowellI use the Skintight bra on trips and find "the support it gives me is a very comfortable feeling" ~~~~~~~Last weekend I hit a piece of chain in the road. It hit the car just behind the front wheel, cut the bra in three places ,but did no damage to the car. That one time paid for the bra.
CJCharlie......what I meant was that I have the bra on the trailer and it still chipped. Haven't had that happen to the car, though, even without the bra. Go figure!
catfishhave car bra for mine, only use it for trips.seems to help keep the rock chips down to a minimum.alley cat also has them on his, maybe he will reply.one more thing, mine has been on and off for about 3500 miles of driving.after texas trip when removing noticed at bottom rear, where built in reinforced flap is that its starting to get a small rip on each side.in general the bra prevents a lot of chips.the rip is probably from it moving in the wind.

I have driven nearly 20,000 highway miles with the Mopar bra installed, and the front nose and sides still look like new where the bra fits over the body panels. I recommend them if you are going on longer trips, driving your car.
BTW - the above picture was taken on sunday, and yes that is snow under the pine trees way out there.

Wil C. KeenerI have a bra for my prowler, purchased through dealer approx cost $239.00 made by stitchco an excellent product fit is outstanding. Also have a bra from LaBra worst fit for the prowler came with covers for bumpers, fenders, hood. No side panel covers from LaBra.Hope this helps.
charlie buiThanks for the replies on the bra subject. I will definitely consider obtaining one in the near future.

I am working on other mods. I was one of the last six to order the hardtop through Norb. Wonder bar is in line shortly....Seem like to list will go on and on....

ed monahanCharlie, you are correct. It is a never-ending battle to keep up with the Joneses, (and Ushers, Wares, Davies, Scarbearies, etc.)
The trailer takes a pounding due to the close proximity of the rear wheels of the car. The rocks and debris are moving quite fast when they hit the trailer. I would not recommend moving a trailer more than 1/2 mile without a bra.
