| ed monahan | Mike Krehel, who started this site along with a few others, has a museum at his home in Houston. You can look at pictures if you go to the past events section and look at the Texas Stampede pictures from 2004.

I live about 5 miles from the prison where Jake was released at the start of the flick. The little town of Elwood, is about a 12 minute ruck from here, which I think is where the name Elwood came from. Great Movie! |

They have always been incredibly gracious about sharing their Beautiful cars!! I'm sure they will do what they can for you. Very nice people. If you thirst for more you might want to buy the Texas Stampede event video. I used a lot of video from Mike and Judy's Prowler Museumn in addition to all the event stuff. |
