I was about 4 miles from home... needless to say I lead-footed it home and made it in the garage just minutes before it hailed and got bad. These tornados are very rare for this part of FL and I was lucky enough to make it home safe and sound. I left work a few minutes early and on my way home to Jupiter, FL there was one big dark cloud to the northeast and sunny clear skies on either side. I started to see the clouds swirlling and saw a funnel cloud start to form.
