Here is the information you requested...The external mounting (2 holes on the trimplate) for ALL Prowlers 1997 - 2002 are the same as the 1996 - 2000 (Body type JA) Breeze, Cirrus and Stratus and (Body type JX) Sebring Convertible (not the Sebring coupe).
The Power (gray plug) and the Speaker (black plug) are all the same and fully interchangeable for all the vehicles listed above.
The Data Buss (white plug) may or may not be present on some of the above applications. This plug operates (if equipped) the Steering Wheel Controls and Automatic Volume Control.
The new Corporate "Flush Mount" design first appeared in 1999 and is the current Corporate design. These units from 1999 - 2001 had the same plug(s) as above, however in 2002 "some" and 2003 - 2004 all vehicles came with a new plug arrangement and even a different antenna connection too, but the mounting and front appearance were the same.
If you have one of the new plug designs there are adapters to convert the original to the new and the new to the original but this should only be done with 1996-2002.
Due to some internal software and other changes it is not recommended that the 2003 - 2004 units be installed into an earlier vehicle via adapters. Of course the physical shape and mounting for the Corporate "flush mount" units are totally different from the Prowler, JA and JX Body types even though some of the plugs / wiring may be the same.
