finally somebody gets it I am certainly glad that the author cleared up the confusion about first year production numbers as I always thought it was in the hunderds not the thousands as reported. Other than that little error, this was a great article.enzvoy http://www.newsday.com/classifieds/cars/prowler-an-audacious-street-machine-1.2616574 JeraneW Heartwarming to hear these positive notes. Only "wide-eyed" writers can see the true nature of the Prowler. galaxie We new that all along. Thanks for posting, Enzo Dave Mills We seem to get along fine with that little V-6 and it hasn't really bothered me much. As we all know, the car still turns heads everywhere we go. This guy does get it! alrtg After making only a couple of thousand first-year cars, the Prowler took a year off for some fine-tuning. When it returned in 1999, it sported a new 253-horsepower SOHC V6 that lowered its zero-to-100-km-h times to six seconds, a full second quicker than the first-year version. Also available were three new colours: yellow; red; and black.
NY Prowler 627 Awesome Post! Thanks ed monahan The $ 52,000 sticker price was a little LOW. lol Chi_Town_Prowler A very nice, non-biased article for the unimformed. Maybe a representative from the club should send a "Thank you note" to the writer.
