maugurI have to many projects that need to be done with not enough time. Would like to get my Tom Mills rear belly pan, G Force gears installed. I need to sand down the plemium intake to get it painted and upgrade the stereo system so I can hear and feel it driving on the expressway. Looking to put two 10inch shallow mount subwoofers in the so called trunk. Lol I also need to work on getting the side panel air scoops painted and installed to help keep the engine a little cooler.
DrillinUBuddyC Steering wheel. Waiting on upholstery shop to finish it up.

also, side mirror project, having a hard time finding a shop to take it on.

Are you talking about putting the lighted arrows in the mirrors ? If so , keep me posted as I am interested in a set. As far as Buddy's steering wheel, Have had mine for many years. They hold up very well and add a lot to the interior. Mine still looks like the day it was made. What ever Buddy painted them with sure is durable.

DrillinUNo, something different.

But, Patm has done what you are asking. He said they replaced the whole mirror.

quincyTiming belt, water pump, tensioner pulley, belts, hoses, thermostat, new pulleys at front of motor. Not a lot of miles, 24K, but 18 years...wow time flies!
Richnew41Now that the double DIN stereo and rear deck speaker conversion is completed... I have moved to the front suspension which is presently with Gary for chroming. While I am waiting on the chroming, I decided to tackle my rendition of a new tachometer which will be much more fitting for the Prowler. IMO the original Tach was about the worst choice and just ugly if you ask me... I did convert to the BIG Tach by Jay some time ago which is awesome but a touch to large for my taste and like 99% of the tach's in existence is riddled with "PLASTIC"!!!! Plastic has no place on a Tachometer in my opinion. That said, and almost there... I'm using 2 tachs to make one... The housing will be by Baron (3" mini tach) which are SOLID brass with a beautiful chrome finish (Used on Harley's).. The internals will be the Autometer sport comp silver for an almost plug and play wiring installation much like the original... The new tach is just slightly larger then the original (2/8th larger) but a real "Looker"... I can already tell it will be a tremendous difference and upgrade to anything I have seen... I'll post some pics after completion.
Landscape DoctorInteresting Rich.

Richnew41I will gladly post many pics for everyone… The mod was a bit costly and as I stated you need to buy 2 tachs to create 1 masterpiece… The Baron runs about $175.00 and the Autometer about $145.00… That said, and when you see it, I’ll bet most would think it’s worth the dollars… It views like it should have been this way from the start. I modified the current mounting block under the original tack to accept the new tack without the need for a mounting bracket/strap to hold it in place. Over-all it was very challenging as is anything you do for a 1st time but worth the effort… If there is enough interest, and as time allows, I will gladly walk anyone through the process of the conversion… I might consider posting pics of the steps if I have time but again, would gladly work 1 on 1 with someone to help them out should they feel its something they just have to have…

DublinOHLots of projects this winter. 2000 highboy conversion is coming along. Got the body panels back from the body shop and ready for installation. Have to get the lower rear a arms to Gary so he can swap out the ball joints and send me chrome ones along with chrome rear calipers and braided brake lines. Have the Sky seats installed, need to get a sample of the flame vinyl to the body shop for color matching so i can have my instrument cluster, steering wheel and radio bezel repainted. I have one more rear viper wheel to polish the barrel on and I'm still waiting to receive the custom wheel adapters from the fab shop. The car goes to Venzano in April for a custom leather interior. If all goes according to plan, it should be done in plenty of time for the June event. The 1999 Kameleon kat is getting chrome tie rod ends, chrome adapter plates, and the chrome fender brackets off the 2000. If time allows I'd also like to paint the waterfall from the 2000 and put it in the 99. It's in the 60's here today, so seeming like time is running out, but in reality we have a good 3 months before the weather gets really nice here in Pittsburgh.
JeraneWI loved the Jags. I had a great 1954 XK120 roadster. One of my favorite cars. Wish I still had it.

drbuttonI need to fix the oil leak in the front of my engine first: http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum2/HTML/005495.html
I will soon ask if anyone has the longer pins for my hard top, as the ones on it now are too short and become loose with much driving. They also threaten to crack the fiberglass without washers, which are too thick to install.
Someday I'll get the nosecone replaced...it has a giant crack in it. The problem is I have smashed the nose into various curbs and parking lot barriers over the past 3 years, and am just getting confident enough with the car that I feel I won't damage a new nosecone. Also, the cost...
