beachcatIf you are trying to make it unnoticeable, I would paint it your car color. I think black will still stand out, unless your car is black. If your car is silver, no point painting it.JMO

I used semi chrome on mine

To get really polished look would need to lightly sand and then start buffing

I have a set of polished stainless covers somewhere that I bought and never installed

Instead of painting if you wanted to hid the exposed corner try some vinyl then if you don't like it just peel it off.

u00tjs2A little Mothers Mag polish and a buffing wheel does great
For $200. bucks, I'll do a lot of buffing.....

xtreme prowlerI painted mine flat black but just behind the grille so it wouldn't bee seen through the vertical fins...
