Roger	July 4th, HAPPY BIRTHDAY—POA From Memory: Whereas PROWLER ONLINE was technically ready a couple days previous—July 4th, 2000 became BIG BANG day for the newly established web site of Mike K… and quickly thereafter the name of the group became the Prowler Owners Association. A famous email from Larry Lord had circulated like wildfire whereby he announced that he was “Changing Channels”. He declared July 4th as INDEPENDNCE DAY from the PPC, the former gathering spot for early Prowler owners. Prowler Online was extremely animated those first few days—the migration away from the PPC being a Boston Tea Party of it’s own. Owners flocked to Mike K’s new site like the California Gold Rush. Shortly thereafter, Tony Goertz merged in his Prowler site and POA/Prowler Online was declared a roaring success. So Happy 4th and Happy Anniversary Mike K, Larry L, Tony, and a whole host of other early Charter Members and Top of the 4th to ALL MEMBERS since that time. We start the 5th year today….still strong…still mighty. Roger Seattle
tangled up in BLUE	seems like yesterday......it has been almost 6 years since I bought my first Prowler.....lots of fun and lots of friends.....many nice people associated with the POA and Prowlers in general.....

ALLEY CAT	Well said Roger!!! We start our fifth year with many new owners finding us on the web. We want to thank our many continous friends for staying with us and contributing to the POA website to make it better each year. To our new owners and members,,,,we need your input and contribution to make the POA even better for the upcoming year. POA is about the car, about caring and sharing information, and about the great friends you will meet and maintain through this fine website. Thanks to Mike and Tony for starting the site, for all of the owners who were here at the beginning and posted and posted and posted to keep things going until everyone found us and most of all, thanks to all of the Prowler owners who have joined this great site and continue to make it the best place to be!! Have a great Fourth of July and let's make the next year even better!! Let us also say a prayer today for all our troops who are still deployed and who continue to fight for the freedoms that we enjoy and celebrate on the 4th of July and for the soldiers and their families who have lost their lives fighting (in all of our wars) for the freedoms which we so covet!
