skuterWhile walking around the huge "Fall Carlisle Collector Car Swap Meet" on Friday, I stumbled onto a new 2000 black Plymouth Prowler. This Prowler has 52 miles on it. The cat is being raffled off on October 10th. to benifit the AACA, AACA Library & Research Center & AACA Museum. The tickets cost $20.00 each. The raffle ticket states that the winner can take the Prowler or $20,000.00 cash. Of course I bought a few tickets. It would look nice besides my Woodward. Wish me luck!

I would wish you luck, but this baby's mine.LOL

alrtgThey have been selling tickets for that car for quite a while.

garysssDave I also have the garage space and yes Andria I will garage it for you as long as it's tagged, Insured and I have a set of keys.

I guess the keys would actually need to be for the car huh. See ya in the A.M.

meancatOne more week, I got my tickets.

Steve ConleyThey have taken the "purchase tickets" icon down. Now you have to call the office??
HogzillaOh well! I really didn't have the room for another toy right now anyway. Good luck to those who bought a ticket
Stray CatWonder if this is the one from Walker Chrysler I posted a while back for sale - only had like 40 miles on it.....

It was purchased for around 35K I believe. I can find out. But it was a 2000 and it was Black.

broakie56Finally received my purchased raffle ticket today in the mail for this DONATED Prowler.......TICKET #13877. Two more days until a winner is picked....Oct 10th!! Let's see....$20 times 13877 tickets = $277,540.00 donated to the following....AACA, AACA LIBRARY & RESEARCH CENTER & AACA MUSEUM.....this is cool! But what WOULD BE COOLER IS when the winner is picked on Oct 10th, instead of having their choice of the PROWLER OR $20,000.00 in CASH.......wouldn't you think @ nearly $280,000.00 taken in that the WINNER SHOULD RECEIVE BOTH CAR AND $$$$$ ???? Things that make you say "huhm"! Pretty good racket.....anyone who is TRYING to sell their Prowler currently should reconsider AND go the RAFFLE route!! Okay....take it easy.....I know it's all for good causes!!
WildBillThe money does go to a great cause, the AACA organization helps keep this countries heritage alive. I've been to A LOT of car museums; the AACA Museum is an absolute must see. Very VERY impressive Artistic displays and murals and an even more impressive collection. Not as big a collection as the Gilmore, but very well done and top notch. The staff is very friendly and informative and all volunteers if I remember correctly.

It would be great if someone here on the club won her, but at the same time we could also gain a new member.

meancatAnybody know who won yet?

Knowbody called me yet!!

------------------

prowlerFreekI called AACA and they said that the winner has been contacted.

Which is wrong because no one's called me yet!
