Bob Goetz	Thanks for posting the photos Jay! Here is the deal, the sill plates are $99.00 a pair delivered. And Jay has the Shimmers for them you just have to decide what you want. To install all you need to do is remove the 3 screws in the door jamb place the new stainless piece on top and put the screws back.

Joe Rad	Nice sill plates. Wondering if anyone has plates that would cover the little hump between the seat and sill (where the carpet meets the plastic strip)? Hard to describe...but you can see it in Jay's picture in the earlier post. I seem to catch my foot on the plastic strip next to the carpet when I get in and out of the Kat.
OrangeCat	Nice. But I'm need something that will start there and go up to the carpet to keep me from scuffing that area, ------------------ profile: '01 Orange Pearl Coat, Factory Hitch, Factory Cat(car)Cover, Luggage Rack, Splash Guards and Garment Bag.
PROWLER-KEITH	Almost need to have 2 of them so you protect the carpet and the plastic I always hit the dumb thing to.. PK
SPCL-T	What size bolts? We all have a Prowler friend in the fastener industry in New England. They just happen to have their own Kat, and also own the New England Dragway. If someone can get the spec's on the bolts, I'll see if we can get stainless replacements, and have them polished too. I'll call them tomorrow. I like the looks of the replacement, but I have to agree with most everyone else. Even though I make a point not to scuff the car when I get in & out, it would be nice to have an extended cover to protect other areas. ------------------ SPCL-T ...and the beat goes on!!!

YELLER CAT	When ordering these Stainless Steel Door Sill Plates from Bob, make sure you ask him to include the $10 discount certificate for "Personalized SHIMMERS" if you want them. Just contact me with the "personal" information and the color and I will do the rest. These are "flat" and will not interfere with the door opening. FYI... the bolt size is 6mm x 25mm + 6mm fender washer. The pictures are with the original "black" OEM bolts. If you need additional information, please give me a call @ 800 669 3540. ALLEY CAT	Got mine today from Bob at REALROD,,,,,very nice pieces. Installed in less than 10 minutes. WOW! Gives an additional chrome touch to Yeller Cat's Shimmer's that I have installed on the inside door handles, ac vents, and radio bezel. Also, compliments the Tom Mills chrome gear shift knob!
