I would like it more if the license plate area was recessed and there were lights mounted to light the plate. Marty ------------------ First of all, thanks for offering an addional aftermarket part for the Prowler. To spark more interest, maybe edit the title of your post?.. so that it's more clear that you are Offering a New Rear Roll Pan. That's big news to this group. A finnished photo of your product should open up immediately too. Backup lights would be great..but not necessary in my opinion..however..a license plate light IS REQUIRED. Perhaps you could sell it with a choice 2 or 3 license plate bracket options? I'll be honest..I wouldn't buy any product that refers me to a bracket catalog and expects me to "solder up" electrical connections to get it to work. What's important to me is a fair priced quality product, backed up 110% by the seller, and convenience of installation. ------------------ This message has been edited by 01BLUE on 02-07-2004 at 10:29 AM 01BLUE pics below sorry I am new 01BLUE www.pixhost.com/pixz/zuke11/dsc01063.jpg

This is the same size and general shape as the factory unit with no bumper holes , you can add lights as you wish since everyone have different taste .I used my own car as a template and had a local fiberglass guy make a mold and well I can now offer these if anyone likes it ,I am in no way trying to steal business from anyone else this pan is not a copy of anyone else's design if you like it let me know I can have them ready in a few days and can offer a painted to match version as well .Also shortened the muffler to match
ALLEY CAT 01 Blue - 01BLUE Now it is painted to match anyone interested ! www.pixhost.com/pixz/zuke11/dsc01067.jpg www.pixhost.com/pixz/zuke11/dsc01067.jpg www.pixhost.com/pixz/zuke11/dsc01067.jpg Kurtis Nice job. How much? 01BLUE Thanks I was beginning to think no one at all liked it ! I have one listed on EBAY buy it now for 499.99 that includes paint to match and shipping in USA unpainted I would like to get $399.00. I realize that everyone must be Leary of a new guy with a new product but I assure you I am VERY FUSSY GUY and this is a nice cost effective alterative to the current market for rear pans . I would hope to sell a few but time will tell thanks for the interest! Marty Usher Don't take offense if replies are slow. Most people like to see mods in person on someones car before they decide to spend several hundred dollars. As far the looks go; as long as you like it on your own car, that is the most important thing. 01BLUE Thanks for the input ! I to thought about the recessed light , plate area but decided against it . I have installed a small billet license plate light and will do without the reverse lights just my taste , I was going for the blank canvas type of design since street rod shops sell thousands of lights to add as you wish .I understand that once you board members see one in person you may like it more thanks . prwlyn 01Blue, will you be making it down to the National Event in Texas in June? I'd like to see it in person as others have mentioned. That would be a nice showing of your product and perhaps stir a lot of interest. Think about it.. I'm all for something which cuts down the very high cost of aftermarket products on a Prowler.

http://www.lordofthelooks.com01BLUE I would love to make it but texas is a bit of a ride for me , I am in CONNECTICUT . Tom Mills How are you wiring the license light into the chassis wiring harness? 01BLUE With a factory plug/harness soldered to the new light on my car, but since I am offering it without a light at all that would be up to the consumer to choose what they want to do . Chromer Hi '01 Blue,
JMO
chromer.01BLUE Thanks for the further input , I would love to be able to offer more on this but I would have to raise the price ! , Most of you are "CARGUYS" and like searching for new things a plate light would be easy and a simple 2 wire installation power and ground . This is not my line of work to sell aftermarket products I own a body shop I am just trying to offer a low cost rear roll pan backed as you asked 110% it fits perfect no monkeying around . thanks again
