I bought a Mesh Grille from Gary and took the mesh out and replaced it with billet bars.I put 42 bars in this one...Gary's had only 21 which he will not make anymore...I know why now...It took me three weeks every afternoon after work to put these bars in.

skb4076Very nice!!!
RaymanI like it very much
greatkatHi Dean,

Excellent job. Unless I'm wrong, one big advantage would be that parts behind the grill are much less visible, compared to the old 21 bar style.

Congratulations ...... and welcome to the aftermarket business .... Heh, Heh, Heh.

Cheers,
Terry

MIKE GATLINNice addition. Looks great.
ItpurrsI have one of those but the Chrome is all peeling off the grill part. I,ve just painted the grill back and think I will put it on for a year or 2 till it starts looking bad again.
1st ProwlerKind of looks like this one from Gary's....

How could he make the grille with an odd # of bars?

Sorry....You are correct....It has eleven on each side ....A total of 22 bars.....Thanks
GaryEVery nice Dean. My grill actually had 21 bars. There is one bar behind the center post of the grill. After talking to Dean it was of interest that he bought a old truck grill and used the parts to make this grill. The bars are about the same size as the bars in my original grill, 1/8" thick by 3/4" wide. He said it was a lot of work. Great Job. One of a kind.
