| ALLEY CAT | Played golf this morning and got my 'first hole-in-one' ever.
I've been playing golf since age 12, but never had a hole-in-one.
My sister-in-law in Nebraska has made two over the years, and I've been frustrated to listen to her brag about it  Superstition Springs Golf course, hole #12, the 161 yard par-3. Hit a 6 iron into the breeze,,,hit on the front of the green and rolled its way into the hole    I bought a set of Lynk Prowler irons from Brad Grubb in Texas about a dozen years ago, and have been using ever since. Thanks Brad for selling those irons to me!! |

I warned all of you the other night about April Fools and Alley Cat stories.
I, on the other hand finally had my only hole in one about 3 or 4 years ago. We didn't get to finish the round, due to heavy rain and lightning. My oldest son was with me along with two other guys that I always play with but they were walking up to the front tees and didn't actually see it.
I also bowled a 300 back in 1981. HONEST |

| BradleyG | Larry, Glad those Prowler Irons worked out for you. I used then to prop open the hood during car shows. The 9 iron worked best for the hood prop.

Thanks again Brad for selling those Lynk Prowler sticks to me,,,,they have cut down my handicap score down to a 5, from a 8. Monahan has requested that I play a Cincy course with him,,but his playing partners have told me that he "tees up the ball" when in the fairways, which isn't often that he is in the fairways. Usually his shots stray into the rough where the jackrabbits and squirrels hang-out. They also told me that he doesn't count all of his strokes for the score card. I just can't accept this type of sports behavior, so have declined his invitation. |
| hemidan | Ed ! We were at a car show when my father was living, and he got caught staring at a young woman who was poured into her jeans. Some people started to agitate him about his staring at his age (85) My father (RIP) graciously responded " I can remember when, I just can't remember why" He lived to be 92. lol |
| ed monahan | I tee it up on the green, also. You don't get sunstroke in the woods, keep that in mind. You usually have your handicap based on 19 holes not one hole. 5 my butt. lol |
