This message has been edited by EssexExport on 06-08-2013 at 11:29 AM Weekenders are made to receive a trailer ball mount also. Maybe the wkendr slips over the outside of the receiver bar so a hitch can still be inserted inside. Dying to know.. Rich Rich, the weekender is designed with a receiver at the back which accepts a ball mount. So you mount your weekender in your hitch and then slip a ball mount in the back of the weekender to tow your trailer. A word of caution though,,,,,the hitch is only designed for 100 lbs tongue load. http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum6/HTML/008937.html When I spoke to him, he wanted $1600Andy Atkinson Does any know of a WEEKENDER for sale and the price? I recommend it. Andy Atkinson Thanks, how do I contact Jim Sutton? Zapcopd Hope this works. http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum9/HTML/003077.html
I contacted Jim about a year ago. Didn't purchase because I dident have the $.
Still may purchase one some day. Hopefully they will still be available when I'm ready.RichO The top pix shows a tow receiver w/hitch. Is this adaptation how they come or is this a one-off made by Jim? It would be great to have this installed AND be able to pull a trailer... beachcat There's a guy in Buffalo NY who had a candy weekender for sale a couple of months back.I will try to find his number. JP Concepts I think was his screen name. RichO Rog, pls clarify. I thought all luggage racks used the receiver so that nothing else can be towed. Do you mean the orig TGF (I think) weekender or Jim's new (which he hasn't named afaik)? Or do the weekenders use a 1-1/4 extender (easy to find). Haven't seen one in person.... stevedymo Here is the thread with jpconcept weekender. jimsutton On my Prowler hitch and a few others I made .. It can use with the Trailer and Transportor together or the Transportor with out the Trailer . Or the Trailer with out the Transportor .. RichO Jim are you still making both the 30 and 40 inch? If so do you have pix of each (back shots will do)? jimsutton Rich0 - Drop me a email address for some pictures or You can call me for information on the Transportors .. beachcat quote:

Here is the thread with jpconcept weekender.kjbrooks This shows the original RealRod Weekender, how the hitch looks. This is just a storage stand I made, and also used it on trips to move the luggage to the hotel room, to avoid unloading it. I never did tow the trailer with it. The steel wall where you would add a hitch, is not that thick.
