------------------ In Vegas, be sure to look up MadMikey, Leon Pearson, Big Ron, and the other owners there and hook up for a event. Viva Las Vegas ENJOY THE RIDE ------------------ Have a great time now that you got the kat home. ------------------ Steve&debbie faint This message has been edited by sfchief69 on 11-16-2002 at 07:58 PM I believe you bought your vehicle near my wife's hometown...beautiful part of the country, but a bit cold this time of year. Glad you made it home safe and sound. Next time we're in Vegas I'll look you up. Kevin ------------------ ------------------Doug Williams I just made it back to Vegas, and the car is absolutely AWESOME. It's a Red 99 with a matching trailer. I bought it on E-bay a week ago. The trip was fun and mostly un-eventful, other than the white-out going through Vail. This ol Kat was crossed up in the ice at about 60 mph. Thankfully, it straightened out, and I changed my boxers at the next rest area. As I'm still a "Newbie", I'm unsure how to respond to a post. I am not the football player, just a "Po Lil" Plumbing Contractor here in Vegas. I drove this baby from Wisconsin, through Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, and finally back to Vegas. The total trip was 1700 miles. I listened to enough Tony Robbins tapes to hold seminars. I wonder if it pays better than plumbing??? Later!!! Doug Todd Cameron congrats on the new Kat and welcome back home!!!! Maybe one day you'll come down for some of the runs here.

"Washed, waxed and in the bag!"Doug Williams Todd... I look forward to meeting you and many others in the future. Thats a neat car, and a really cool lookin Pit. Later !!! Doug Doug Williams Kevin... The car came from the Lacrosse area. WAAAAY too cold for my desert rat blood. Keep in touch!!! Doug Doug Williams Steve... You mean I don't have the ONLY red Prowler??? Ed says that mine is the 2nd one in existence next to his. I wonder what else he "misled" me about??? Doug Doug Williams Larry... I already met Big Ron, (actually... He kinda found me). Prowler people are definitely the BEST !!! Doug Doug Williams Ed... It's funny that you mention the peoples responses to the Prowler. The following is a list of some of the remarks, or interesting things that happened in 1700 miles. 1. Upon the 1st tank of fuel,A car salesman offered to trade a used Hummer for it less than 5 minutes after I left the dealer where I purchased it in Wisconsin. 2. the 3rd fueling (about 150 miles later) in Iowa, a truck driver remarked... "nice car... what is it??.. how far ya drivin?? need anything to keep yerself awake?? 3. In Nebraska a guy in an Avalanche complimented on how he loved the car and especially the color (it matched his Avalanche). 4. In Colorado the night manager at a Best Western told me that I should be aware that my car "may" not be there when I wake up, as they have experienced a lot of car theft lately. (I slept terrible that night, and awoke every 30 minutes to check the car) 5. In Richfield Utah a 16 year old kid challenged me to a race (he drives a 78 Sunbird) after his girlfriend or cousin (or both)was googling at my car. I politely declined. Long Story short... At every fuel stop (1700 miles = 17 fuel stops), someone came over to talk. Totally unbelievable. Ed...Why didn't you tell me to own stock in Texaco BEFORE buying a Kat??? Later!! Doug Todd Cameron Lol, we actually get good mileage, it is just we have no gas tank
