Rick ------------------ Rick the only numbers for sure are the Woodwards and the Black Ties, which are the number that Dr. Rue striped them, not a build number. There is no real way to know what number car someone has since the VIN numbers were shared with the viper on the drivers door label there is MDH (month day hour) this will tell what day and time it was started to be built and from that the car number can be guessed at. I have seen on some `97's a number on the left cowl area that is suppose to be the build number. ------------------ I've got a '97 ..... where is the left cowl area, so I can check it out. I mean if my prowler is the 9523 one made and the 27th 2002 yellow prowler, what is that good for? Would the first 2002 yellow prowler be worth more then the last 2002 yellow prowler? I can see possibly 1-2 of the first 97's and obviously the Hi-Voltage but, is the 50th 1999 black one worth more then the 175 2000 black one? I've got a '97 ..... where is the left cowl area, so I can check it out. ------------------ It doesn't really matter at all. I was just posing the question after seeing all the posts like "I'm #235" or "#118 here". I was just curious. I LOVE MY KAT -- doesn't matter if it's #1 or #11,602. I wouldn't trade it for anything. : Rick ------------------ ....an interesting factoid provided to me by Bob Longstreth. The last Candy Red produced for sale (Mike), and the High Voltage Blue (Mike again) and my one-of-a-kind Blue/Silver ACR Viper have consecutive VIN numbers. ------------------FL Blue Kat I see most everyone who uses these forums knows what number their kat is. I am still a newbie so, where do you get this information?

Larry & Sue MayesKraut Wildcat, SuperKat This question comes up often. I am really amazed that in this day and age DC has not got a method for us to find out exactly. If you can believe this; it is easier to determine the sequence number of a superbird built 33 years ago. We can even find the specific dealer and sequence each '69 Daytona was sent to and when. I would certainly like to have a build sheet and sequence number. JMHO
GordonYellowFever This question does seem to come up alot and other then just curiousity, what difference does it make? I'm asking cause I can't think of any. WildCat quote:

open the hood and back by the door/ hood hinge area on the left side look for a white paper label with a number. I was told this is build number on the `97's, I have a very early `99 and it didn't have this label.
