John Andretti, age 49 taking his last ride around the Indy track before heading for the cemetery. He died from colon cancer. One of the good ones.padroo Very sad to hear. ALLEY CAT

Had many good rides in INDY CAR series & NASCARPanther City Red John was diagnosed in 2017 and became a great advocate of testing. He indicated that he put off getting a colonoscopy-sadly it was too late for him once it was discovered. When I was at the speedway this spring there was a Indy car signed by the vast majority of any living driver who had raced at Indy. Parts of the car were sent to all parts of the world to get driver’s signatures. The car was sold at one of the big car auctions with all of the money going to a colon cancer charity. Whoever purchased the car donated the car to the Indy Museum. Hoagie1 Definitely sad to hear! TucsonJer What a great “last ride”. Brought tears to my eyes. 😢
