Flyboy	A couple of years ago, I did an unintentional 360 on the interstate with traffic. Lots of smoke behind me as I recovered and went on my way. A hidden car hit the brakes in front of me in the right lane I was changing into. I hit the brakes with a turn to the left to avoid it. Doing about 70 mph. I had the brakes adjusted prior and later. Last night just screwing around the right front locked again, always the first to squeal. This is after 3 adjustments. Normal? Bad service? Mechanical problem?

Larry Lord	Flyboy, If your right front locked up first, I would guess that either you swerved to the right or were making a right hand corner. This would allow the chassis to unload or lighten the right front wheel, allowing it to be the first to loose traction. As far as adjusting the brake on a Prowler, there is no manual way to adjust disc brakes on a per wheel basis. The emergency brake can be adjusted. The Prowler has a tendancy to lock the front wheels under hard braking or cornering during performance driving and it's something that you will need to learn to live with. This is why I've always been very concerned with people promoting or selling larger / better brakes for the front of the Prowlers. They are great for cosmetics but not at all good for a balanced and safe braking system in my opinion. Just remember that brakes stop the tires, but the tires stop the car. Softer or better traction front tires will help the Prowler brake lockup problems but beyond that there is little simple hope. dbudner	Well put Larry. I didn't want to say that if he got charged for adjusting the brakes other than emergency, that he might have been taken on a ride.
catfish	to my knowledge the emergency brake is self adjusting,its not adjustable.as for your lock up.larrys right,something else,if the caliper piston on the right side is worn or to loose in caliper it could stick and cause it to lock up.iv'e had that happen on my 250 dodge van.the rt.caliper piston was loose enough to stick and cause it to lock up.it only had 13.000 mlies on it.if its sticking you will hear it make a pop noise. ------------------
