This message has been edited by RED5 on 07-06-2006 at 07:47 PM I had several fall off thru the years too....dealer fixed one by grinding the inside of the fender and using some sort of body glue on it.....they said the fender would break off before the flap ever came off again.... the next Kat, both front ones (brackets and all) fell off within a copuple of weeks of each other and I didn't find them....so they ordered me 2 new fenders...sold the car and still have the new fenders in boxes... Whooops! This message has been edited by MeanGene on 07-06-2006 at 07:57 PM still have the new fenders in boxes... Change your login to Devil in the blue dress lol! This message has been edited by Snoman on 07-06-2006 at 09:16 PM LD OK, Here it is one day till the big rod show, with a good chance to be seen on National TV...On the "SPEED CHANNEL"...that Dennis Cage guy will be doing a show here....then while detailing my front fender...what happens...I barely touch my gravel guard and the whole thing snaps off, bracket and all...In a way it's good it happened in the garage or I would have lost it on the road...This thing looks like it was stuck on with "Hubba Bubba" chewing gum...What's out there for a fix for this???
A good adhesive that will bond, providing I can get this other stuff off..... 1buddyc LD-If you cant get it fixed in time for the Show, you could take the one off the other side....at least both sides would be the same until you can repair it properly.... Piddler J B Weld will fix about anything! RED5 Mine has been on for almost two years with gorilla glue. tangled up in BLUE quote:
