| Randy Cobb | Help please. I remember someone posting pics of the nuts that need to be loossened to adjust the front fenders. I may or may not have adjusted mine as far as they can go or I may have bent the arms in a moment of stupidity. Thanks in response for the replies. ------------------

| mikee | I did it by loosening bolt B the three are 15mm and can be done with the wheels on. bolt A was to hard to get to with the wheels on. Hope I was right. |

| GenoTex | Randy... as info. I found (in my case) that when I adjusted both fenders full forward that I did not need to trim my flaps at all. I did this when I purchased my 2nd set of flaps.. the first were getting a little bit ragged around the edges from all the dragging. Since then (about a year..) I have pulled a 'burr' off the flaps maybe 4-5 times.. other than that they are still in great shape. Good luck with yours

| GenoTex | Oh yes.. and I took my wheels off... it was a great time (and they needed it) to clean inside the wheelwells.
It's no biggie really. Whole thing can be done in about an hour or two, depending upon how cold the beers are

| Randy Cobb | Thanks Geno- Yeah mine are getting a little frayed too. I'm going to Myrtle Beach next week with my investment club and I'll probably replaced them after I somber up from that trip. Confession time.
The reason for the advice on the adjustment is because when I was down there in May I was at a car wash and backed the right front flap into a curb around a small landscape area and damaged the flap and pulled down the fender so that the flap rubs badly on right turns. I trimmed it about 1/4 inch, but it still rubs bad. Visually the fender looks OK, but upon measuring it, it's about 1.25 inches lower than the left fender. I hope the adjustment works and I didn't bend the bracket. ------------------

| ed monahan | Randy, you can probably look at the bracket and see if it is damaged. They are powder coated and if you look at the 90 degree bend areas, you can probably see any damage.
