Roadstar | I'd like to have the front bumper lites on when ever the engine is running. How can I do this without having all the marker lites come on. If they're on during the day I can't read all my instruments etc. This is why I want the front bumper lites on by themselves. I think the oncoming traffic picks you up sooner. Any help would be appreciated. |
Marty Usher | I don't know about rewiring just to have bumper lights on. I do not even have front bumpers!! However, if you turn your headlight switch counter clockwise it has TWO set positions. The first one will keep your dash lights at setting like the lights are turned off. The second setting all the way to the left turns on the interior lights. Hope that helps. Racer | All Canadian cars have their bumper lights come on when the engine is on. Perhaps you could look at some factory daytime running light wiring kit from Chrysler canada?

Bob Goetz | My car is from Canada and the running lights are on all the time, if you find out how to turn yours on let me know so I can do the reverse and turn them off. Thanks |
Tony Goertz | Canadian cars have a "Daytime Running Lights" module plugged in to the wiring harness. The service manual descibes it as located "outboard side of the left hand support bracket. Access is gained by removing three bolts on the left side service panel" - refer to page 8W-90-6 in the service manual . ------------------ Little Canuck 99 TonyG@ProwlerOnline.com |
Roadstar | Thanks Tony. Thats what I needed to know. It sounds like the hard part will be going to my dealer and ordering the part. I appreciate it, Mat |
Ohm Dr | Maybe Tony will send you the module, since he wants to take his off... |
Ohm Dr | Ooops... I meant Bob. |
Eric Wolf | Tony, is the left side the passanger or driver side? |
GenoTex | However, if you turn your headlight switch counter clockwise it has TWO set positions. The first one will keep your dash lights at setting like the lights are turned off. Didnt know that one, thanks (again) Marty!
