prowlrmanHappy to report that I stopped this evening at the Michael's store in Phoenix at 48th st. and Ray Rd and found the last one they had in stock (store clerk told me possibly the only one they got!) and bought it. Since I own Black Tie #62 I can now put the model on my desk at work. No time to put it together tonight but I did open the box and it is a cool 1:48 scale version of my car!! Thanks for the tip on the model C.J.!
thedqmanMy wife went to 2 different Michaels, they had many prowlers but not this one.. We have Black tie pilot # 3 and would really appreciate if anyone goes by a Michaels if they could pick one up for us. We will of course pay shipping and $ of model. We tried the web site mentioned here but they have no more in stock! Thanks again Mike239 393 0969
Bcoffman Gray GhostWent to Kansas City last week-end for meal with daughter. I told her I wanted to drop by the Michaels store to check for one of these models. She said that Michaels ran a lot of discount coupons in the Sunday paper. Looked. Sure enough..40% off any item in the store. Retail: $8.99 - $3.60 discount = $5.39 total.
Nasty CatI found the same one at my store
Black Tie 161I found mine did not go together so well, considering the pre-built Black Tie version is now $12.49 at www.towerhobbies.com and is perfectly built, it's the better buy IMO.

"Presented on a removable black plastic display base that features the name of the vehicle printed in silver, a mirror reflecting the image of the car, a black and silver Eagle's Race medallion and a clear plastic dust cover"

check it out.... :D http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXWH95&P=7

Black Tie 161LOL CJ! Maybe that's why I found myself buying 4 of them online. :D I am pretty sure at least 2 will stay in the box. I had to build one to see how it went together....
