They send you a real bank draft and then you can use it on ANY car. They never even ask what model or price (must be through a dealer though for new) ------------------ • MTD Prowler Intake System 2.2 BeWare We initially leased our Prowler. I know, I know , it was a Huge mistake. At the time I thought it was the only way we could afford it. But I am happy to report we just today were able to buy out the lease. Got 5.9% financing, much lower payments and saving a ton of money. Hope to be able to pay it off early. Marty Usher Rich - I am sure you and Linda feel better now knowing that the kat will be your's for good now! We just refinanced our car loan also. (I never knew that was available before) Since The kat was used when we bought it two years ago the interest rate was higher. Our new payments are $87 a month lower!

Who did you finance through to get the lower rate ?Blue Kat Now you won't be able to turn it in at the end of the lease for a new model Prowler, maybe a 2004! I was looking forward to driving up to Marietta and seeing your car in the Ed Voyles Chrysler Used Car lot . . .
I can't imagine what they would write on the windshield "Driven on Sundays by little old retired IBM person"? SuperKat Congrats Rich. I too look forward to the day our Kat is ours. I told a fellow who was working on the barn that the only thing I own inside is the prowler trailer. Wonder why the banker does not come over to look at his stuff sometime?
GordonBeWare Duane, I did it through the IBM Employees Credit Union. I have too much of myself in this Kat to let the lease run out and buy another. Besides with all the mods the leasing comapny probably would have penalized me if I turned it in. BK driven on on Sundays to Utah and back. SK the only thing I own is the trailer as well. jd2ksilver Good for you Rich. I'd like to lower mine payments somehow. Like you, I have WAY to much of me into it. I'm happy for you.
Marty Usher John - checkout www.peoplefirst.com - I had my original car loan with them. They provide 37 - 60 month refinancing loans at 5.65% now I believe, but have apolicy of not refinancing any of their current loans so I went through my local bank. YellowFever Peoplefirst can be from 12-72 months for new and 12-60 for used.

ThanksWPG I will second the recommendation for using PeopleFirst (http://www.peoplefirst.com). Like mentioned, they send you a bank draft within a couple of days (mine arrived in two). Their customer service was excellent, and the best part was the only fee was $35.
