tomerRelative newbie here, and I did some searching but could not wade thru the 200 messages that came up...

I have a factory car cover with my 02 Kandi, and I tried to put it in the "what trunk" and was afraid to slam the deck lid even after some space engineering (cramming it in there)...I hate to have the cover on the passenger seat, because at work i always cover the car, and folks are always asking for a ride...I love the thick quality of the factory cover, but having it stored in the nice factory bag on the front seat is a bummer.

Perhaps my first mod will have to be a thinner California Car Cover (I had one for my Viper, and it folded up to a nice small size)...

regards
Tomer

WildCatI'm thinking before I got my trailer I was able to put the cover in the trunk.

Work with it some more. I would put it in the seat if I were to cover it daily, but work with it and get it in the trunk on those days someone wants a ride.

Don't put it in the bag and it will fit.

quincyBelieve it or not the cover does fit in the trunk, with the top up.

I got to thinking today that a WEEKENDER might be the best solution. Room to store a few things or the cover without having to use the trunk. They compliment the car and can even serve as a cooler Check with Bob at RealRod and see if a cover will fit in it

Randy CobbI too had trouble with putting the cover in the trunk.

I bought a lightweight cover that will easily roll up and store in the trunk with the top down. It is waterproof and heat refective. This is now what I use all the time.

tomerRandy, bravo!!! that is what I was thinking is necessary, because I drive 99% with the top down

What brand did you get?

Randy CobbTomer:

I pulled my invoice from the foreign car parts shop where I ordered it and found no vendor name. Invoice had the price and description, but no vendor.

I will check the label and bag when I get home tonight and get back to you tomorrow.
