Nick00800My drivers side mirror glass is flopping around a bit. The glass is intact but it looks like the plastic mount that attaches the motor function to the glass may have broke. Is there any way to fix it or do I need to find an entire assembly.
USCGRetiredAMT1I would double check its for the drivers side before ordering.

BeWareMy passenger side did this except my glass fell completely out. It was still hooked to the cable so it didn’t hit the ground. I replaced the whole assembly. I don’t know if that was really necessary.

Nick00800Thanks for the help guys!
Nick00800I never got around to ordering this and now these links dont work. Any ideas? The glass is actually fine it is just the metal "+" portion behind the mirror that broke.
alrtgI did a quickie search on e-bay for 5013105aa which should be the Driver's side outside rear view mirror kit.

There were three listings for the Driver Side, all of which were $121.69 or more with "Free Shipping".

Next, I did a search and found the "Mopar Giant" has these listed for $83.96 and I will presume that is plus shipping. http://www.moparpartsgiant.com/parts/mopar-glass-kit-mirror-replacement~5013105aa.html

I also saw on e-bay, the 5013106aa which should be for the Passenger side available for $56.94 plus $14.95 Shipping.

Nick00800Thanks Alrtg. Probably a stupid question but should I just be able to pull the existing glass and it pop out or do I need to do something special. I just don’t want to pull too hard and break something else in there.

dskattThe first photo is the assembly and the second is the back of the mirror, just pull and push. I used a little grease to help with the push.
Maddawg6Those things can be a pain. Always feel like you're going to break something... and yes, I have! You do need a bit of force to get it to "snap" back in and I do suggest using grease to help.
