The Georgia chapter of the PT Cruisers Club along with Hayes Chrysler / Jeep held an Toys for Tots car show yesterday. We had four Prowlers. Myself , Rick Ellis, Eddie Powell and Joe D. Joe who also brought his Viper, did not make it in time for the judging. I did not make an exact count but I am guessing about 30 PT's were in attendance. On had about a $10,000 paint job on it. So wiining the class was not easy. An 383 70 Cuda took best in show for the non PT, Prolwer/Viper class. It was extremely cold and I was surprised we even had 3 motorcyles attend. They also had thier own class. This message has been edited by BeWare on 12-14-2003 at 10:56 AM Rich - what is considered cold in Georgia? A/C, cold is probably similar to what we experienced last night, lol. This message has been edited by BeWare on 12-14-2003 at 11:37 AM CONGRATS!!! block-buster ------------------ You guys weathered the storm and took home some metal.BeWare Congrats to Eddie for best in show for in the Prowlers PT Cruisers and Vipers class.
Rick and myself also got a top 10 award in the same class.
ALLEY CAT CONGRATS Eddie - makes ya feel good doesn't it! Catwoman Congratulations Eddie! Sounds like a good time ~ now where are the pics? BeWare AC it began in the 30's , and went into the low 40's. it was on the verge of rain so it was very damp. (Eddie and I no more than got home and it poured). It was also very very windy so I am guessing the wind chill was much much lower than the actual temp. It took Eddie 15 minutes to remove all the extra layers of coats/clothes etc he had on, before he could get into his Kat to drive home. Sorry Eddie I couldn't resist.
Sorry No Pics SuperKat Congratulations to all the winners. Glad to hear you made it home before the rain Rich. Sure missed seeing you folks yesterday.
GordonMIKE GATLIN All right Eddie! cmblockhus Way to go Eddie, (must have been the side vents that put you over the top) lol Eddie Powell Thanks all!! It does make you feel good AC, but I can't see what makes a judge pick one car over another when there are 4 awsome Prowlers and 30 of the most beautifully painted and "dolled-up" PT's you have ever seen. Curtis, could be the vents!!! (there was a PT there with Buick Vents) Something to think about. Any opinions?
Debbie, it was colder than when we last saw you!!!!CJ Congrats to all!! CTProwler Way to go Eddie!! ALLEY CAT If Catwoman and I were to show at a car show in 30 degree weather, wet and damp, and ready to rain,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,well ,,,we'd be NO SHOWS
BTW - we have an owner out here (Pete Balis) with old vintage Buick vents set into his side panels. Looks awesome! Pete is moving to New York state later in the spring. If I see his cat again,,,I'll get some pictures.DR PROWLER Very nice!
Congrats!Marty Usher Way to go Eddie!
