Tim	After watching lots of trouble with people and their Paxtons, not to mention fairly poor boost followed by another delay from Paxton, (where they didnt return my call for 2 weeks after it didnt arrive at last known ship date, had to call them until I got him) I have cancelled my order and Paxton will never see a dime from me. So, although I dont really race her around, I am looking for a performance gain. Subwoofer is in the back, so nitrous is out. Is one of those chips available for the car does anyone know? I have seen tons of overpriced items from gears to nitrous to the supercharger and wondered why spend all this money, all this aggrevation when there might be a simpler way? I mean its a Chrysler built V-6, there must be a chip available, right? ------------------ Visit My Prowler Page
Nyle Wing	Tim, I have called Jet performance and Hypertech they both told me there would be No chip available for the Prowler. If you ever do find one Please let me know. and I will do the same. ------------------ Flamed Red 99
j paulsen	I talked to superchips and they are working on a chip. They said it was hard to get to and change, I plan on checking with them every two months and will inform everyone when they are ready if they ever are.

Reading all I have read, I believe this to be one of the simpler upgrades with a good performance boost for the buck. Tim	Yawn, got the standard response showing the idiots cant or dont actually read their mail. Basically, I asked em if they would consider making a chip for it and I got the "we dont make a chip for that" response. JUST JP	Tim, Did you get the Paxton? Did you ever get any new info about upgrading the computer? I too would like to see this happen. Being the poorest Kat owner, I can't afford the charger right now. Not to mention the problems with low RPM boost. Bryant	I asked the guy that does the chips for Camaros/Firebirds and he referred me to a guy named Ron Zimmer at Zindustries. I haven't tried to contact him, but I searched for a phone number and found 2 listings: Ron Zimmer at Z-tech 714-779-6680 Z-industries 602-443-3333 Who knows--maybe they're working on something for the Prowler.
