Has anyone used there cassette? I am trying to remember when they were introduced...I don't think back in the hot rod days? We all have an OEM cassette player of the years of production Right?condor I still do use sometimes cassettes @ my prowler.
I have tapes from the 80ties, they work still well.Kika Hello Condor tangled up in BLUE ...cassette tapes were just starting to get popular in the early 1970's....I purchased my first cassette deck for a car in 1973 and my first home cassette recorder/player in 1972 DON WIEBER we use them once in awhile. this last summer we bought the cassette adapater for my ipod. now i have all my old records on it with over 12 hrs of great music. fibertop I bought a bunch at a garage sale and they all broke. Storage is key as the tape dries out and snaps. alrtg I have the same problem with my 8 Track tapes lately. idive Those cassettes and 8-tracks can be easily repaired when they snap. Just a thin strip of tape on both sides and you're good as new. I repaired a cassette just last sunday that way and have done many repairs on both in the past. WildCat quote:

Larry & Sue MayesJeraneW Andria: Now I know where my collection of 8-track tapes went! Hawaiian Mine came with an 8 track, but when the tracks jump, I just fold and wedge a book of matches in the opening. Its usually "Aero Smith" that jumps.
Cruzing music on cassett: Eagle, Jackson Brown ,Jimmy Buffett and when feeling nasty... Jethro Tull's Locomotive Breath !
