texasprowlerI took an 01 or 00 kat on a test drive the other day from a local dealership. i couldn't help ut nitice that the seats which much softer than the seats in my kat. the leather was much softer and the seats seemed "cushyier". I sank right in. The seats appeared to be stock and had the kat logo. my kat is a 99 and the leather seems much thicker, stiffer, and not as much padding.

is there a difference in the seats from year to year?
is the only difference conditioners, dressings, etc?

BeWareI have both seen posts and personally seen different leather on some 99's. Jan's comes to mind as having thicker grained leather.

dbickelI noticed the seats in a 2002 were much softer and seemed better quality. Also, the leather on the seats, shifter boot, and steering wheel appeared to be lighter in color.
