Here is my email to him. I sent this on the 17th and have not gotten any reply.
Dear southlakedodge,
This ad states that this car is a 2001 special edition purple Chrysler Prowler with a matching purple top. The VIN# does indicate it is a 2001 as advertised. However, the purple Prowlers were only built in 1997 and 1999, and they were made by Plymouth, not by Chrysler. There were NO Prowlers made with a purple top. I don't think I am color blind, but I don't see any purple Prowler in your ad. I can understand this, as sometimes the ad pictures don't always reflect the actual car for sale, so I won't hold this against you. If I were to win the auction, however, I would expect you to provide me what is advertised... a 2001 purple Chrysler Prowler with a matching purple top. Should you fail to provide me with this, you would be leaving yourself open to a lawsuit for false advertising.
ed monahan It says Mulholland in the description. Click on the thumbnail of the second picture in the bottom row. The pic of the inside of the right front wheel.

Give them a little break, after all they are in South Dakota.
Possum9 Seen the car Friday when I took my car in for service, it is a 2001 Mulholland and looks like it has been sitting,
dash and gauges had dust and there is some inner pitting on the chrome wheels naturally, the body and paint looked good
and the top also looked good. I bought my car here and they always have a Prowler sitting out front.
superdoppler People seem to think my Mulholland is purple too. I have no idea why.

YellowFever Given the fact some dealers were selling DODGE prowler service manuals on eBay, a local GM knew nothing of a Black-tie edition, chrysler sales folk tell me that they were out of the hardtop coupe and only had the convertibles left, I am not surprised.
Someone probably just looked at the pics, assumed purple and wrote it up that way.
ed monahan A dealer telling me that they had a MAHOGANY colored one this Feb. was the best one I heard personally.
CJ I know Ty......we were visiting our son down in NC a couple of years ago and we saw two Prowlers on an exotic car (used) lot. One was black and the other was yellow. On our way back from his house, we stopped at the lot and discovered it wasn't black, it was a Mulholland. It had the top down, or I would have known by that it wasn't a black!!!
