I'd love to hear more about why you chose that specific fuel cap/intake...

I will be going the way of the hi-boy soon and I do not want my fuel intake in the trunk, and I prefer the clean lines of no fuel door on the exterior.

What I don't like is that your fuel door appears to need a key (common for boat fuel doors) to open it. Not cause it's locked but because there would be no method of turning the nozzle.

Options are limited due to space considerations, keeping it out of the cabin and the trunk. The marine/aviation fuel filler was an easy solution to fit in the door jam and not interfere with anything. Being I have both the hard top and soft top, putting it in the trunk was not considered to be an option with the hard top in use.
I actually powdercoated it black to match the rest of the door jam hardware before final assembly.

The key is very small and I just put it on the car key ring.

Will the fuel pump at fuel stations still recognize to turn off fuel delivery as the fuel tank reaches full if say you push the fuel handle delivery to auto thus allowing you to free your hand from the pump?
Will they click off to avoid fuel spill?

Did you use all the stock fuel filler receive hardware and simply cut hole in passenger door jamb, turned the stock fuel lines towards door, and added the marine fuel cap and receiver?

The fuel pump at the gas station will still shut off fine when it becomes full. However, fuel can easily back splash out into the door jam when using the lock down feature for auto fill because there is no reducer in it to allow only the filler nozzle in and prevent back splash. I manually fill it to control the flow. You can listen and easily hear when the tank is full and the fuel is rising into the filler neck. The tank is so small, it fills fast. Believe me, I fill it often with that Hemi in it. (13 MPG but worth the fun) I can almost watch the fuel gauge go down when I drive it. LOL!!

Answer to your install question: Yes

Hemi, what rear brake lights did you go with?

I found some sequential ones I like on amazon. But they're kinda pricey.

Sorry for my delayed reply. I do not routinely go on this forum. I used Cuda tail lights. The original frames would not fit. (not enough space between the roll pan and frame). So I used them to form a pattern to keep the Cuda style and Mopar Heritage on the vehicle.

Sorry for my late reply. I am not on this forum very often.

CCJ may have put his HiBoy project on 'hold', due to unforeseen circumstances.

Does anyone know how to contact Bill, the owner of this car?
He does not get on this site very often if at all. I have tried sending him PM's but I doubt he's even seen them.

If you have any info, please PM me.

Thanks!
